Winter weather updates: Wednesday, February 23, 2022

A winter storm warning is in effect as of this morning through 6 PM Thursday, 2/24.

If you’re scheduled to fly out of TUL today or tomorrow, then please contact your airline for the most up-to-date flight status information before leaving for the airport. Make sure to give yourself of plenty of time to travel safely to the airport.

The airport’s snow crews will be clearing and treating the runways and airport roadways for at least the next 24 hours as needed.

8:50 AM: Snow crews are pre-treating runways with de-icing liquid and pellets. All runways remain open.

3:15 PM: Airlines have preemptively cancelled most flights out of TUL for the rest of the day due to precipitation. The main runway is still open and clear. Our employees will continue to treat the runway as needed. Remember to check the status of your flight with your airline.
