September Enplanements Reach 11-Year High

October 23, 2018 – Tulsa International Airport released its September activity report today which reflects a significant increase in passenger enplanements for September 2018.  Overall, enplanements were up 12% compared to the same month last year.  September 2018 was the busiest September in the past 11 years, continuing the trend of monthly enplanement gains.   Seat capacity growth of 7.3% from September 2017 to September 2018 fueled the demand with the majority of additional capacity coming from Frontier and United Airlines.

“Airlines have continued to invest in Tulsa by adding routes and additional seats,” said Mark VanLoh, CEO of Tulsa International Airport.  “When travelers utilize our service and choose to fly from Tulsa, airlines will continue to provide additional capacity to our market.”
