Southwest Airlines Launches New Nonstop Service from Tulsa to Austin

TULSA, OK – April 4, 2022 – Southwest Airlines and Tulsa International Airport celebrated new nonstop service from Tulsa (TUL) to Austin (AUS) yesterday. The new nonstop flight by Southwest to this popular music and business destination is offered once daily, year-round. Passengers on the inaugural flight were welcomed to their gate with live music and celebratory treats, and a few passengers helped with the ceremonial ribbon cutting prior to boarding.

Austin has over 30 million domestic visitors annually, and is the home to world-renowned festivals such as SXSW and Austin City Limits. The city has over 250 music venues featuring rock, blues, jazz, hip hop, and other genres nightly.
