Popular coffee brand returns to TUL just in time for summer travel season
TULSA, Oklahoma – May 20, 2026 – Tulsa International Airport today celebrated the opening of the terminal’s newest concession offering with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for the airport’s new Starbucks location. Airport officials say Starbucks has consistently been one of the most requested additions from passengers traveling through TUL. Located post-security on Concourse B near the United and Southwest gates, the new Starbucks marks the return of the popular coffee brand to Tulsa International Airport for the first time in nearly a decade.
“This is something travelers have been asking for us to bring back for years,” said Alexis Higgins, CEO of Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust. “We’re excited to welcome Starbucks back to Tulsa International Airport and offer passengers a familiar, high-quality option as we head into one of the busiest travel seasons of the year.”
“We’re proud to partner with Tulsa International Airport to bring Starbucks to Terminal B, further elevating the traveler experience at TUL,” said Elizabeth Jorgensen, Vice President of Business Development, Hudson. “Introducing such an iconic and globally trusted brand ensures guests have access to the premium coffee and familiar favorites they value while on the go. This opening reflects our shared commitment to delivering dynamic, convenient, and memorable experiences for every traveler.”
The newly renovated space is managed by Hudson, which has operated several retail locations throughout Tulsa International Airport since 2018. The opening comes as Tulsa International Airport prepares for a busy summer travel season. Compared to this time last year, seat capacity at TUL is up 5.2%, and airport officials expect more than 413,000 passengers to travel through the airport during the month of June alone. The addition of Starbucks is part of the airport’s continued efforts to enhance the passenger experience through new amenities and terminal improvements.
The Starbucks location will be open 365 days a year from 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., providing travelers with coffee, specialty beverages and grab-and-go food options throughout the day. The addition of Starbucks further expands dining options at TUL.
