TULSA, OK – May 27, 2022 – Passengers flying from Tulsa International Airport will soon have a nonstop flight option when traveling to New York City. American Airlines today announced new nonstop service from Tulsa International Airport (TUL) to LaGuardia Airport (LGA) beginning November 3, 2022. Flights will operate once daily, year-round, on an Embraer 170 aircraft. Flights go on sale Monday, May 30th, on aa.com.

New York City has been Tulsa’s largest unserved market for several years, and American’s new service will allow both business and leisure travelers to have nonstop access to the most convenient airport in the Big Apple. The new nonstop to New York City is American’s sixth new route added to the Tulsa network in the past three years.

With the launch of American’s new service to New York City (LGA), the airline will have a total of nine nonstop destinations served from Tulsa, with the others being: Austin (AUS), Charlotte (CLT), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), Phoenix (PHX) and Washington, D.C. (DCA). Tulsa International Airport will have a total of 26 nonstop destinations available from six airlines when the new route launches in November.

Starting November 3, American will offer daily service between TUL and LGA at the following times:
• Outbound flight departs TUL at 6:00 a.m. and arrives at LGA at 10:00 a.m.
• Inbound flight departs LGA at 6:29 p.m. and arrives at TUL at 9:13 p.m.
