Tulsa, OK – November 4, 2022 –Tulsa International Airport celebrated American Airlines inaugural flight from Tulsa to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) this morning. New York City has been Tulsa’s largest unserved market for several years, with an average of 110 passengers flying each way between the two cities per day.
New York City is American’s ninth nonstop destination served from Tulsa, along with Austin, Charlotte, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas Ft. Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, Phoenix and Washington, D.C. American Airlines now offers more nonstop routes out of TUL than any other air carrier.
