Tulsa International Airport Unveils New Website

TULSA, Oklahoma – March 8, 2023 – Tulsa International Airport has launched a new website that is designed to be a resource for passengers, airport tenants, the aviation community, and those looking to do business with the airport. The new website is located at www.flytulsa.com, but users can also enter the previous URL, www.tulsaairports.com, which will reroute them to the new site.

The website was designed with the user in mind and makes finding essential information quick and easy. The airport team reviewed analytics from the previous website to see what content was most commonly searched for and clicked on by users, then organized the new site to prioritize those topics when presenting content on the home page.

The website gives users the ability to tailor the layout and content based on their reason for visiting the site, with the main layout options at the top of the page being “Travel,” “Business,” and “Tulsa Riverside.” Most users will leave the site on the default “Travel” layout, as they are on the site to find information for Tulsa International Airport’s commercial flights, parking, and nonstop destinations.

If a company is interested in doing work with the Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust, they can select “Business” and see information about the organization’s job openings, business opportunities, leadership team, and more. The “Tulsa Riverside” layout provides essential information for RVS pilots and tenants, flight school options at RVS, and how to contact the Tulsa Riverside Airport team.

“We are excited to roll out a fresh, new look to our website, while providing easier navigation, new features, and a more seamless user experience,” said Stephanie Chester, Community Relations and Brand Manager at Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust. “We are excited to have our customers explore the new site and know that it will help us connect with our travelers in a more effective and impactful way.”

New website features:

  • Modern, responsive design, which adjusts to fit all devices
  • Live TSA security checkpoint wait time
  • Customer service chat box
  • Interactive terminal map
  • Translation capabilities to view the entire site in 11 languages
  • Flight status updates
  • Parking information
  • Updated newsroom
  • Nonstop destinations information and interactive map

After a nationwide search for website proposals, the airport contracted with PAVLOV Advertising of Fort Worth, Texas for development of the architecture, design, and implementation of the site. The PAVLOV team has experience with several other transportation clients, including the creation of websites for the DFW International Airport and San Antonio International Airport.

“FlyTulsa.com has been completely revamped with cutting-edge features, with real-time data updates for flight status and security wait times, beautiful interactive maps of terminal locations and nonstop destinations, all packaged in a streamlined user experience that caters to both travelers and business users alike,” said Allan Cardozo, PAVLOV Advertising Chief Operating Officer and Interactive Director. “We are beyond proud to have contributed such an amazing improvement.”
