Ground Transportation Policy
Under Federal Grant Assurances, Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust (TAIT) is obligated to establish a fee and rental structure designed to make the Airport as self-sustaining as possible [49 U.S.C. 47107 (a)(13)]. Because Tulsa International Airport receives no tax dollars from the community, the Airport must seek to raise revenues from contracts, licenses, permits, and leases issued by the Airport to both aeronautical and non-aeronautical users of the Airport.
Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust approved a Commercial Ground Transportation Services Policy for Tulsa International Airport on February 8, 2018. This Policy requires all commercial operators to have either an agreement with TAIT or a permit that indicates their acknowledgement of and compliance with the Policy requirements.
