Discovery Lab Play Area

The Discovery Lab Play Area is now open! Families can now visit the play area that is located between Gates B7 and B9, post-security.
Project Overview
Purpose
The airport has partnered with Discovery Lab to construct a play area for kids to enjoy post-security while waiting for their flight. Discovery Lab is a museum that encourages the development of executive function and process skills, including critical thinking, problem solving, communication, collaboration, creativity, and innovation. Their content focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), and health and wellness.
The airport is excited to have this new addition for guests to enjoy. The play area will be located between Gate B7 and B9, and is expected to be open by March 2024, just in time for Spring Break travelers!
