Status

Curbside signage has been replaced and updated. Next phases are pre-security signage, post-security signage, and then roadways.

Project Overview

Purpose

Update the wayfinding directional signage at the airport curbside roadways, terminal, parking garage, and roadways.

Justification

The update will feature more impactful and modern designs. A clear and consistent wayfinding system, from roadway to gate, makes the overall experience easier for TUL’s guests.

Next Steps

• The wayfinding master plan was approved by TAIT Board on May 12, 2022.
• Lochner is currently reviewing the Master Plan and developing a phasing plan for implementation.
• The Construction phasing order is curb, pre-security, post-security, roadway, and then parking garage.
• TAIT will then issue a RFP once Lochner has completed building the bid documents.
• Phase 1 will be completed by end of FY24.
• Next step is to begin working on Phase 2 (pre-security) to begin work early FY25.
